Gail Nelson has been a training professional for 15 years. She specializes in programs for the workplace on conflict, stress and communication strategies.

Gail has a Social Work degree from the University of North Dakota. She has held training and management jobs in St. Louis and Chicago. She spent 10 years as a corporate trainer and management consultant for The Village Business Institute and Employee Assistance Program. She is trained as a mediator through UND’s Conflict Resolution Center. Gail is the owner and CEO of Blue Moon Training Workshop.

Currently, Gail is pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling and Communication at North Dakota State University. Her practice will seek to decrease stress and increase communication for individuals and families.

Gail has been on dozens of peak performing teams. Those teams include 3 summer camp staffs, a National Convention for 14,000 youth, the Greek System at University of North Dakota, a Church Council serving 5,000 members, a management team serving 6 locations in Chicago, the play therapy staff at MeritCare Children’s Hospital, The Village Business Institute serving 500 companies, a high adventure mountain climbing group for women, a member of the “Fab 5″ WDAY radio show, and her customers and clients with Blue Moon Training Workshop. The Nelson “Family Team” includes her Eagle Scout husband Jim, her son, Chris, an Eagle Scout candidate and her daughter Katie, a gymnast for the Fargo-Moorhead Acro Team.
